Aug 17    17th ANNUAL COIN SHOW, Florence
The 17th annual coin and stamp show is coming to the Florence Events Center on Saturday and Sunday, August 16 and 17. Show hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free to the public, and coin appraisals will be available. “Buy, sell or trade” is the theme, with close to 50 vendors from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, California, and as far away as Connecticut.Exhibitors will display coins from the U.S. and around the world, including Greek and Roman coins, territorial gold coins, and hundreds more.
Aug 23    OREGON COAST GRAVEL EPIC BIKE RACE Waldport
The Oregon Coast Gravel Epic offers riders seeking an unvarnished challenge a full day of adventure in the Siuslaw National Forest on the central Oregon Coast. This event is being produced in cooperation with the cities of Waldport and Yachats with support from Travel Oregon. The ride showcases the raw beauty of ancient Siuslaw National Forest scenery and rural coastal communities. This is one of the crown jewels of the Oregon Triple Crown Series of premier and challenging racing and recreational riding events.

Aug 24    YACHATS RIVER VALLEY FARM TOUR
The Yachats River Valley Farm Tour is Free and open to the public. Meet "up the river folks" who are using their land to raise anything from llamas to edible flowers. Visit up to seven farms, survey the operations and purchase locally produced products, including honey, vegetables, herbs and more! 10 am - 4 pm

Pies, Pies, Pies!..The Ladies Club pie socials are famous for their astounding variety of delicious pies. Each slice is a generous 6th of a pie and costs $3. This is a joyous historic festival (reintroduced in 2011) and chock full of activities that are fun for all ages. These include kite demonstrations, contests, public kite-flying, and endless food & drink. There will also be several professional kite fliers as well as giant kite fliers.
Sep 13 & 14    ANNUAL WILD SEAFOOD WEEKEND, Newport
The Newport Wild Seafood Weekend is a two day celebration of our Northwest's vital wild-caught seafood industry and the fishermen and families who go to sea to harvest it. This two-day festival will take place at Port Dock 7 of the Port of Newport and on along the Boardwalk on Newport's Historic Bayfront. 10am-6pm

Oct 17- 19    15th ANNUAL YACHATS VILLAGE MUSHROOM FESTIVAL
Calling all fun guys and fun gals to the Yachats Village Mushroom Fest! Experience a tasty weekend of delectable wild forest mushroom cuisine, culinary markets, wine and beer tasting and live entertainment. In addition, have a FUN time learning all about mushrooms, the role of fungi in forest ecology, how to grow your own culinary mushrooms, and much more. We are honored to have a phenomenal team of educators join this festival annually to give talks, lead mushroom walks, and provide exhibits and workshops. Advance reservations for a couple of the Sat/Sun workshops may be made online. You may also take a culinary mushrooms cooking class or attend a mushroom cooking demonstration. Guided mushroom walks and fungi exhibits are FREE and open to the public.
Nov 1    14th ANNUAL OYSTER CLOYSTER FESTIVAL
The Oyster Cloyster is an exceptional event where you can indulge your sense of pleasure with original culinary creations prepared by the Chefs of the Oyster Cloyster, making it an experience to savor. Proceeds from the event benefit both the Oregon Coast Community College's Aquarium Science Program as well as the Oregon Coast Aquarium. 6:30pm -9:30pm
